Long shaft combat boots - Incaso 18, black leather, floral fabric

Such lovely Incaso ankle boots from Laura Vita! The beautiful shoes are partly made of high-quality black leather and partly of floral patterned textile. The flowers also wrap around the combat boot sole, adding a nice touch to the look. Even the stitching on the shoes is sewn with gradient thread in the familiar Laura Vita style. This model has a comfortably moderate heel, and together with the slightly thicker sole under the ball of the foot, they feel comfortable on the foot. The laces allow for good adjustment of the fit, and the zippers on the inner sides make putting them on easier. Beautiful shoes!

Maria the merchant’s medium-width feet – details:

• Not a high instep and not a low instep
• A “flipper” shape, meaning the toes are almost equally long, with no pronounced curve at the toe line 😊
• A slightly rounded toe box suits best; very pointed shapes often don’t have enough room for Maria’s big toe
• Usually wears size 43, with a medium-wide G last or a wide H last
• In barefoot shoes, typically size 42, because there’s enough room for the toes
• Length of the longer foot 26.5 cm
• Width at the ball of the foot 11 cm

Size 43 in this model was just right for Maria's foot! Size 42 also fit Maria's foot and was good in width. The length just wasn’t quite enough for the big toe, which felt like it was slightly bending with the toe box. Size 43 felt more comfortable, and the laces allowed for nice adjustment of the fit; the width was already good. Lovely shoes, and the heel is just the right height!
